While many of our competitors have outsourced their online proctoring services to offshore vendors, our remote proctors are full-time or part-time employees of B Virtual, and are predominantly based in North America. During a proctored online exam, our virtual proctor will authenticate the student and monitor them while they complete the exam. Our remote proctors are then evaluated regularly, and must maintain a score of 90% or above to remain qualified as a live virtual proctor.
B Virtual guarantees the reliability of our live online proctoring services in accordance with stringent service level agreements (SLAs). For scheduled proctored online exams, where students must plan their test on a convenient day and time in advance, we guarantee that students will be connected to their remote proctor within five minutes of their scheduled start time to begin their session, or it is free! B Virtual assures 100% transparency of our recording during a proctored online exam. We record every test session from beginning to end with no exceptions. We record the student’s web-cam activity (inclusive of audio and video), the activity on the student’s desktop, the chat transcript, and last but not least, the virtual proctor’s web-cam activity (again inclusive of both audio and video). The latter is a unique characteristic of our online proctoring services. The entire second-by-second recording of the remote proctor is made available to our client in a secure portal within minutes after the proctored online exam is complete. Many competitors will provide recordings of the student, but none provide full-recorded transparency into the proctor’s performance every time.
